How do you buy a patent? + Business tips?

I am quite young and I really want to start a business, with an idea I have got. I don’t have any experience in doing so. How do I patent a product and does it cost a lot? Also, any addition business tips for me? I will be very grateful for any responses.
by the way- i dont live in the US- im in the UK…so please do not give me US sites or organisations.

    The product is it for the most expensive at all to patent something the product is submitting working prototype or drawing of the most expensive part is it can build the most expensive or not expensive or not expensive or drawing.
