I’m planning on starting my own business and would like info on how to run one. I’m planning on opening a pet store in my local area and I need info on how to get started. Are there any books you recommend? Any advice you could give on pricing, hours of operation, best locations, etc? I’ve never ran a business before but I like a challenge. There is only 1 other in the area. Does anyone have any information on obtaining grants to start a business? What keeps you in business? ANY info would be greatly appreciated.

I have a registered business and website and help people with any financial/business/accounting task for free or dirt cheap prices. I think the business could be useful to people but I am trying to find ways to advertise online. Any low budget suggestions!
