I can’t do bankruptcy because it affects my wife’s credit. My credit score is very very bad, so I cannot get a consolidation loan. I don’t own my own house, so I am unable to get an equity loan. I’m running into walls here, and I need help. Thanks!

I am getting in over my head with my credit card bills. I haven’t overcharged them but my interest rates have gone up and my credit lines have been decreased by the banks. I want to consolidate them to get the rates lowered and so I won’t fall behind and hurt my credit(especially now). I google’d it but a ton of things came up. I don’t want to get scammed. Please help!

Here it the thing. I just recently went back to work after having our second. We both are in the high income bracket. My husband and myself. For most of my pregnancy I did not work. We were fine until recently a family member got into an accident and it financially hurt us, it hit our savings hard. We still have a good deal of savings but we want to take some measures before it becomes a problem. We have a mortgage that is higher than most. We have a car note that will be done in a year. The car note for our son’s car just got started. I also have substantial credit card debt. We were debating whether we should consolidate or deplete our savings and pay off two of them and start to rebuild our savings. Any suggestions?

I would lke to know if there is a type of loan that will allow you to consolidate credit cards, personal loans, and purchase a home at the same time. I am currently a graduate student with student loans as well.

There are many sites on the web, but most of them charge monthly fees and setup costs. I need help managing my credit, developing a budget and getting out of debt. Are there any good companies or non-profit organisations that provide these services?

I have not used this card in years yet with all of the fees and what-have-yous it is becoming a monster. Beside going through a debt consolidation program are there other choices for closing the account and paying it off?
